I’ll remain available to answer questions, help you prepare, and provide support before your departure, throughout your journey when needed, and after your return home.

HOW IT WORKS

Share your ideas, travel dates, budget, priorities, and what story you hope to tell when you come back.

I’ll research the possibilities and present thoughtfully selected options tailored to you and your trip.

3) Book Your Journey

Once you’ve chosen your favorites, I’ll coordinate the reservations and important details, and build your itinerary.

4) Prepare, Travel, & Enjoy

I’ll help you get ready, remain available when needed, and support you throughout your journey.

Planning Fees & Expectations

Is there a planning fee?

Yes. The nonrefundable planning fee is $30 for trips with 1–5 travelers and $50 for trips with 6 or more travelers. Every traveler counts, including infants and children.

What does the planning fee include?

Your fee covers the initial consultation, research, original proposal, and up to two reasonable rounds of revisions. It compensates me for the professional time involved and is not credited toward your trip.

Can I make changes after booking?

Two client-requested post-booking changes are included when permitted by the supplier. Beginning with the third request, a $10 service fee applies per change. Any supplier-imposed fees or penalties are separate.

What if I need to cancel?

The Story Lighthouse does not currently charge a separate cancellation-processing fee. However, all reservations remain subject to the supplier’s cancellation policies, deadlines, and penalties.
